ICDA's fourth tournament of the year, hosted by Lyons Township High School, is the last invitational tournament before winter break.

Like the previous tournament, ICDA 4 has identical structure to ICDA 2.

While ICDA 4 is not the last invitational tournament of the season, it is the last opportunity for varsity debaters to earn nominations needed to qualify for the Tournament of Champions (TOC) qualifying round at ICDA 5. Furthermore, it is the last opportunity for junior varsity debaters to compete in a junior varsity-only chamber. Consequently, the competition at ICDA 4 is slightly fiercer than at the previous three invitational tournaments.
